General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that we’ve got a July sweeps preview, which features explosive big reveals, dangerous rivalries and shocking partnerships. Let’s talk about all the drama that’s coming up in Port Charles.
For starters, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will do his best to keep the peace between Dex (Evan Hofer) and Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), but it won’t be easy due to Brando’s growing suspicions.
Brando can tell there’s something off and rather risky about Dex, so Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) secret plant will have to be careful.
Of course, Michael could live to regret hiring Dex to take down Sonny if his plot goes off the rails!
In the meantime, Sonny will let love bloom slowly with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and hope they’re building something magical.
Nina will enjoy growing closer to Sonny, but she’ll have a chance to succeed in business as well.
It turns out Nina will land in the position to help Michael and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) with their ELQ and Aurora Media merger.
Drew will handle the business proposition that’s brewing since Michael wants nothing to do with Nina.
It looks like Nina will get on board with Drew’s plan, but this alliance will inevitably enrage Carly.
There’ll be a faceoff in the aftermath, so Carly will demand answers about why Drew’s willing to work with the enemy.
Carly’s hidden truth will continue to weigh on her as well, particularly when it comes to Drew.
Although Carly believes keeping Nina and Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) biological link under wraps is the right call, she won’t like the lie that’s hanging over her growing Drew connection.
As for Willow and Michael, GH spoilers say they’ll get some amazing news that they can’t wait to shout from the rooftops.
However, Willow will also have to deal with some pressing problems.
Of course, we should focus on that amazing news confirmation for a moment.
GH spoilers are very clear about something good happening to Willow and Michael, so that’s led to speculation that perhaps she could be pregnant.
GH released a promo recently that shows Willow nervously hugging Michael in a hospital exam room, but previews can be misleading.
Willow may have another fainting spell that leaves her fearing her unknown diagnosis – leaving the door open for a baby bombshell.
That said, Willow has been showing some health warning signs for a while now.
If Willow is indeed expecting, she could have a condition that could complicate that pregnancy and set the stage for Nina to be revealed as her bio mom.
Over with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), it looks like his days of working at the PCPD may be numbered.
Now that Chase has been arrested just before he was set to be reinstated, there’s a good chance he’ll end up fired and looking for a new career path.
That’ll lead to another setback for Chase and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) since she’ll blame herself for his struggles.
Fortunately, Chase still has investigative skills he can put to good use, so working as a PI might be an option.
Regardless, Chase will focus on an undercover mission during July sweeps – one that’ll make it impossible to hide his feelings for Brook Lynn.
It sounds like Brook Lynn and Chase may end up posing as a couple, so that could obviously create more temptation between them.
Linc Brown (Dan Buran) will remain Chase and Brook Lynn’s target, so let’s hope they can take him down and clear a path to their own happiness eventually.
Next, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will sound the alarm when it comes to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and her relationship with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
Anna will have to worry about protecting her heart since she’s clearly picked up on the fact that Valentin is keeping secrets.
The truth about Valentin’s role as the French captain will come back to haunt him sooner or later.
Valentin is caught up in one of Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) schemes, so Anna won’t be pleased when all of this blows up.
Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will continue to find herself in situations that force her to spend time with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), so she’ll find that he’s not so bad after all.
While fans see the early stages of Cody and Britt’s romance, we’ll also see Cody seek employment.
It looks like Cody will decide to score that job in the Quartermaine stables after all.
As for Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), she’ll soon realize that Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) has some shady layers.
Austin is keeping some big secrets regarding his past and who he was meeting with in the woods, so Maxie will do some digging and grow concerned.
At Shadybrook, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will continue working toward her recovery, but she can’t truly heal until she gets to the real source of her trauma.
General Hospital spoilers suggest Liz’s issues go back far beyond Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) death, so it’s clear this ties in with her parents somehow.
Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) has been tempted to get in touch with Liz’s mom and dad, but that would mean overstepping and going against her wishes.
Will Finn do it anyway or could someone like Laura take the lead instead?
Either way, both Finn and Laura will believe something besides Franco kicked off Liz’s crisis.
Speaking of a crisis, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will face another one ahead of her Home and Heart TV appearance.
Sasha could be headed for a relapse that’ll bring a televised disaster, so we’ll see how it all plays out.
Brando will definitely battle more worries and will have to make some tough decisions in the aftermath.
What’ll matter most to Brando is Sasha’s well-being, but can he get her to admit she still needs help?
Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will work multiple angles and try to show Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) true colors, but there’ll be more snags along the way.
Victor has vowed to find Esme’s birth parents, so we’ll see if he can make progress during July sweeps.
Meanwhile, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will find Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) drifting further and further away due to the walls he’s put up through Spencer’s secret.
Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will also inch closer to her trial, but she’ll have plenty of help as she fights to clear her name and make Esme pay for her own crimes.
Unfortunately, Esme will prove quite the troublemaker once again.
General Hospital spoilers say Esme’s set to destroy Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) relationship in a big way, so the forbidden hookup should be revealed soon.
